We were able to take her home on 12/4, but we needed a home unit for her jaundice. She had to wear it all the time and she looked like a little glow worm with the long tail coming out the back! It was hard to have her on the light all the time, it kept us from being able to hold her all the time like we wanted to. But, after about 2 weeks, she was much better and we were able to hold her and cuddle with her all the time!
We had a stream of visitors for the first month, and spent the Christmas Holidays with family, but in January and February I got to spend some quality time with my little girl. Unfortunately, I had to return to work full time at the end of February. We are very lucky to have Brandon's mother watching Ella and our nephew at our house three days a week!
We recently hosted Easter at our house, and to prepare, Ella helped me, Brandon and Aunt Kelli dye Easter eggs.
Ella also got her very first Easter basket from the Easter Bunny, filled with all sorts of fun things for her to use. It was a great weekend and a fun first Easter for Ella.
I will try my best to keep this up to date, but being a working mom and wife will make it a challenge. A challenge that I am looking forward to!
Lookin good so far! As long as you keep sending Aunt Kelli all the fun pics, the blog can wait... just kidding! :)
